Published on 28 October 2025
The Organizing Committee of the Palladium Global Science Award is pleased to announce the new date for the prize giving ceremony, after the previously scheduled event was postponed due to the host city being affected by Typhoon Ragasa.
The prize giving ceremony will be held in Hong Kong on 21 November, where the awards will be formally presented, along with special PGSA statuettes. Scientists and academics working at universities, research institutes and commercial R&D departments will be in attendance at the ceremony, along with members of the international business community, market analysts, financiers and civil servants.
The $350,000 prize fund will be shared among the five winners of the three nominations: $120,000 and $60,000 respectively for the first and second-placed entrants in the Best Scientific Development nomination, prizes of $80,000 and $40,000 for Best Scientific Article, and $50,000 for the winner of the Best Applied Concept nomination.
The Palladium Global Science Award returns in 2026, and will once again welcome submissions outlining novel palladium applications in chemistry, materials science, energy, metallurgy and related fields of research.
