As the representative of one of the industry’s key centres, the CPMIC actively supports the development of new technologies and international cooperation in the precious metals industry. The CPMIC incorporates enterprises involved in developing new applications for precious metals, waste disposal from precious metals mining, refining metals, trading and executing financial transactions with metals, and creating and supporting precious metals research institutes.
Member enterprises contribute 85% of the market share of China’s precious metals recycling and refining, 70% of the market share of precious metals consumption and 60% of the market share of precious metals trade.
“As an industry leader, the CPMIC supports the Palladium Global Science Award because we believe that palladium-based technologies have an important role to play in the economy of the future. The competition provides an opportunity to bring together scientists, engineers and researchers to find new solutions for industry. This is the first annual event, marking an important step in strengthening international ties between all parties developing palladium innovations. We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to these efforts,” said Bian Jiang, Executive Chairman of the CPMIC.
